The views of the river were breathtaking and the room was clean and comfortable with a cozy bed. The menu of the restaurant was varied and included a great selection of gluten-free options.
Our room had no external windows or doors and opened to the internal hallway making it noisy and uncomfortable. Despite the advertised rate being $75, we were charged $79 for our stay.

The facilities were excellent, with fresh paint and crisp white linen. The river location made for a beautiful dinner setting. The historic feel and decor added to the charm of the accommodations. The bistro served delicious pub food, including salt and pepper prawns and squid. The gardens and view across the river were outstandingly beautiful.

Found this spot while travelling up north. Located right off the pacific Highway and close to the river, it offers great views and beautiful surroundings. The rooms were alright with decent bathrooms and good access to verandahs. The breakfast included continental self serve. The pub's cafe offers great food and staff always seemed great.
The service was quite poor and unfriendly in the adjoining beautiful old pub, which was not inviting at all.

The hotel is a great place to unwind from the drive with a cold bevy and contemplate the river. The showers were lovely and hot, a real bonus after a long day. Having a cafe attached to the hotel is convenient for more food options and great coffee.
The breakfast consisted of disappointing options with sliced white bread and instant packet coffee in a dingy back room.

During my romantic escape, we enjoyed the old world charm and the lovely river view offered in the hotel. The restaurant food was exquisite. The variety and the quantity of the food was impressive, as well as the romantic atmosphere provided. We appreciated the attentiveness and helpfulness of friendly staff.
We disliked the lack of private facilities, as we had to share the bathroom and toilet. the absence of air conditioning made our stay uncomfortable, as the room was hot even with the noisy fan on.

We loved the location of this hotel just off the highway next to the lake. The riverside garden was a special spot to enjoy the sunset. The staff was friendly and the included breakfast was a real bonus. We also appreciated the cleanliness of this hotel.
Could not be improved in any way.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a charming hotel in a delightful village. The 19th-century building with its wraparound balcony and whitewashed bedrooms exuded charm and cleanliness. Although the hotel had shared facilities, they were conveniently located and spotlessly maintained. The unexpected highlight was the restaurant/pub downstairs, which served unexpectedly high-quality food in beautiful gardens overlooking the river.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel in a small old village on the river. The attention to detail was impressive, from the clean shared facilities to the lovely verandah where I could sit and overlook the river. The staff was friendly and the basic amenities were more than satisfactory. The breakfast offered was delicious and a great way to start the day.
No negatives, everything was perfect.

The hotel restaurant food superb, melt in the mouth tender lamb backstrap, standout calamari and soft shell crab. Prompt and friendly service. Nice town for a stroll. Easy access to the highway for continued travel.
Nothing, all excellent.

This hotel offers great value for money with its affordable prices. The attention to detail is evident in the charming rooms that reflect the character of the building. The location on the banks of the beautiful Clarence river is ideal, and the verandah provides a lovely spot to relax and take in the view.
All was just fine.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a wonderful experience. the hotel offers excellent value for money, with prices that were a fraction of what other providers are charging. Secondly, the staff were extremely friendly and provided excellent service throughout my stay. Lastly, the location of the hotel is absolutely stunning, situated on the lovely Clarence river in a small old village. It was great to have shops just a stone's throw away, making it very convenient.
Everything was fine at this hotel.
